Once again the Clay Center Public Library will have a Summer Reading Program. This program is open to every child in the area, ages Pre-K through 6th grade. There will be a sign-up sheet at the library, but you do not have to have your child signed up to come to any or all of the sessions.
Summer Reading will start June 7th and run through August 2nd. Sessions will be Wednesday from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. Our final session will be a party at the park on Friday, August 4th at 10:00 am.
We will have music, songs and stories. We will also plant some vegetables. Holy from the extension office will stop by a few times with some fun activities. Since our theme this year is Building a Better World, we will have stay and play time. The kids can build with different types of blocks at the end of each session.

Clay Center Community Club Fun Night
Join the Community Club for a round of golf and drinks all night on June 27th. Golf begins at 4:00PM meal at 6:00PM. If you pay your dues you get a free round of golf and free keg beer. Also a free-will donation supper of hamburgers and brats.
Current members pay $5 to play golf.

Community Garage Sales
The communities of Clay Center, Glenvil, Fairfield and Edgar will be having town wide garage sales on Saturday June 10th. Maps will be available at a later date.
